My friends, this was a great trip -- I commissioned 4 new covers from 3 new artists I met here in Osaka, and booked another cover from DC's rising star Sukesha Ray, and the creme de la creme, I put a Brainiac and Nic Cage Superman Hoodie into the hands of Mr. Superman Lives himself, we shall see if he kept them or tossed them to his assistant,
I ate 80 pounds of Wagyu Beef and in my favorite part of the trip, took the bullet train all the way out to the coast, where I toured the Himeji Castle, the site of my favorite fuckin James Bond movie of all time, YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, where the late great legend Sir Sean Connery trained to become a Ninja,
Been waiting 40+ years since I first watch the movie with my dad to make my way into Tiger Tanaka's Ninja Academy, so it was an awesome and surreal trip, and I'm definitely coming back here for Tokyo Comic Con because Japan is a gorgeous, friendly and culinary delight, although I did have to adjust to the public spas and the overabundance of naked Japanese dudes in boiling hot cauldrons.
I'm heading back to the states today, so I will start packing and shipping the Valentine's 6 and Pixi Runner 6 packages, once I have touched back down after flying over the Arctic Circle,
